It is as the title says: I'm 99%+ sure this is just MD, but I want to be sure I'm not missing a doubled die. Flat shelf doubling. First pic is full obverse so you can take a look at the obverse lettering. Second pic is an angled shot to highlight the doubling on the facial features.

If it was DD you wouldn't need to angle it.

Thanks, cwb. I'm finally getting to the point where I can reliably tell MD from true DD in lettering, but the face still throws me.

Coop, I assume you got the MD face picture you wanted for your graphic? The thread was from a few years back, so I assume John1 delivered.
