 with Conder et al. Wouldn't be much of a showdown, he has substantially more experience than I have. I'm still fairly new into early copper.

Maybe so, but you do very well.
This one was pretty easy though it has an obvious die crack up to the right through the numerator of the fraction. 1804 doesn't have that. You look at 1801 and there it is on S-213, 214, and 215 (same rev die). On 213 the point of the 1 points high in the notch formed by the curl and the hair wave above it. On the OP coin it points at the top of the curl so it isn't 213 but it does match 214 and 215. On 214 the 1 and 8 are well apart, and 215 they are very close together. On the OP coin they are well apart, S-214.
