paddy murphy Valued Member United States 401 Posts	Posted 02/20/2017 5:05 pm I kind of got burnt out on coins last year took a sabbatical, not spending a cent on coins since last March. Instead of sitting around though, I was very productive on other personal issues and decided it was time to get my self into better shape. While you don't need to read all the posts, just the first page and the last, this link explains what I've been up to. http://strengthvillain.com/forum/vi...?f=11&t=5354 My numismatic interest rekindled this weekend and I picked up some Standing Liberty quarters. I think I'm going to focus on all those empty holes in my Barber/Standing quarters and Barber halves this coming year. I was standing in line(s) at Eddie Bauer's, in the Gilroy outlets, with about 20 other people and they were talking about diets. "I lost 20 pounds on the South Beach diet." "I lost 30 pounds with the Atkins diet." Back and forth, yada yada yada. In a lull I piped up, "I lost 65 pounds." Someone asks, "How'd you do that?" "Cancer." The crowd moaned.
