i stop at the coin shop today bought a small penny deal.i got a roll of 1932 D a roll of 1916 d a roll of 1928 S found 3 large s.and lots of bu coins one was a 1935, 1936 d,lots of dates in the 40's and 50's.some I needed for my book.a civil war token 1863 small flag type.now to repackage them.they where in very old coin 2x2

he thought is was just a reg. token.when I look closer it was a civil war one flag on front with date and a dix in the center circle it says other things also.with scann it later on

do you not think the "shoot him on the spoot" is wrong, it should read "shoot him on the spot" so I think this is counterfeit but I am no token Guru so this may be a typo that is supposed to be there I don't know but usually when there is a typo like that it means its not a legit coin/token

Why does one picture of the token show a clipped edge and the other shows the full token without a clipped edge? Thats sorta strange..

I thought it was a fake, I guess that just confirms it. Usually its small things like that, that most people don't pay any attention to that is different on the fakes and the originals

There is a legitimate Civil War token with the misspelling "Shoot him on the spoot"

It is Fuld die 409. (Fuld dies 408 and 410 - 416 have the correct spelling.)

so it is real then. die 409 I will put that on the 2x2 also.looking in the bu coins and found a 1933 d in ms 63/64 red also!wow.
