I bought some time a go this Syracuse Dekadrachm coin from an antiques fair and I wonder it's a replica or real? And what it's worth?

Sorry to tell you but this is 100% fake. This is one of the most copied coins. The original is made of silver and weighs 43 grams. It has no value at all.

Welcome to the hobby!

Please don't let discovering that your coin is not an authentic ancient coin turn you away from a rewarding hobby of collecting ancient coins.

Whilst the particular coin you have a replica of is outside the budget of most collectors, there are plenty of ancient coins (including silver greek coins) to suit people from different budgets. There are even ancient coins which you can buy for merely a few dollars each. There are plenty of reputable dealers of AUTHENTIC ancient coins and places you can seek advice about collecting generally (this forum included).
