Instead of taking the picture through the magnifying glass, just take a picture of the coin. You can crop it on the computer before (or during) you upload it. This will create a sharper image of the entire coin, and nothing will be blocked by the reflection of the light. Report this Post to the Staff
Jovian Valued Member United States 147 Posts	Posted 02/23/2017 1:59 pm It does look like a couple of small die chips. Die chips along the stems and leaf edges are quite common. Especially for the past few years, more so on Philadelphia coins. You also have a small die crack off the bottom ring of the torch which is hard not to find on a modern dime.
