I've got this necklace I'm trying to find out where it's from/ what it is and am having trouble doing so. I thought maybe knowing what the hallmarks are might help. Any help would be appreciated. throughtheireyes Valued Member 477 Posts	Posted 02/26/2017 03:30 am The clasp looks like a commercially made clasp manufactured from the 1940s through to the 70s or later. You see that clasp often on vintage Mexican jewelry especially from Taxco. I don't believe the maker of the clasp made the necklace. As for the necklace it appears to be tiny seed beads. This design is still made in Mexico as well as among the Navajo of New Mexico and Arizona. It appears to be vintage but how old I couldn't say. Report this Post to the Staff
