Anyone use the "Eagle Albums" with the 2x2 holders.

Here is a link to it:

http://www.eaglecoinholders.com/new...?cPath=21_35

Unfortunately, the quality of the images on the Eagle Albums site are REALLY BAD, and it is very hard to see what these albums actually look like..

They appear to be plastic pages where you can snap-in 2x2 holders, and then just an "inventory sheet" that goes with it..

For example, the " Presidential dollars Including Proofs set" goes for $99:

They seem pretty expensive way for just be pages for 2x2 holders...

Anyone use these and have some better photos of what they look like, or any feedback on them..

Thanks.

Michael

Einstem, no I haven't, but this may just fit the bill for what I've bee looking for. I've put together an expanded 7070, meaning a few extra varieties than standard. Now just have 2x2s in plastic page/binder. This may work.

Ahh, brain fart! Bet these are for the PLASTIC 2x2s! Says any up to .2"...

I think you can order just a single one of their "pages", and then you could see how well your 2x2s fit into it..

I've always had good luck with anything eagle. Give them a call to get set up for what you need.

I have been looking for a great way to produce a custom album to display my mint/proof sets.
I was on my way to using plastic 2x2 holders in the Eagle plastic page. They claim
they will fit "most" 2x2s. Wrong. The Eagle 2x2's are a bit on the expensive side, so I
went with the less expensive BCW brand. MISTAKE! They are just a BIT too thick. I have to heat
the plastic restraining strip on the back with a hair dryer to make it pliable enough to
slip the BCW 2x2 into the plastic page. BUT, it leaves a scrape on the front of the page.

At $0.40 per 2x2 and about $4.00 per plastic page, it costs $12.00 to store 20 coins.
For about the same price, you can purchase a CAPS album page and 30 Air-tite capsules,
storing 50% more coins (in the cent to quarter/small dollar size range) if you buy the Air-tites in bulk.

JMHO after much research and purchasing small quantities of the different storage mediums.

P.S. Both the Eagle pages and the CAPS pages use almost standard 3-ring binders. They
need to be a little wider (the type that will fit page protectors). Both Eagle and
CAPS 3-ring binders cost about $12.00.
