Notice the two die gouges in fioti's image ( or whatever they are ) on the right of Monticello under the mintmark. They are on the 1949 D over S Jefferson nickels. They point up from those side steps to about 1 or two o'clock.

Amber: If you could get a larger image of the mint mark area and the building, we might be able to do a side by side to see the the location of the mint mark is correct. If the location is not, then it is probably not from that die.

Thanks amber. I was wondering if the location of the mint mark was a match or not. But when they are side by side, they are not a match. So it is not from that die.
