I was to late. I went to that sale and all they showed was real proof coins. I wanted that original one he showed. I really missed out on that one.

I agree, but, still. I guess the bleeding heart in me pictures someone with a pile of cash just getting into the hobby getting duped. Or a grandma buying a "specimen" coin for her grandson, etc.

But my other mantra is caveat emptor, so... yeah.

Now, I'll happily pay way too much money for a small, rectangular piece of cardboard with a couple cents' worth of ink on it to fill a hole in my collection. But to your point I KNOW what I'm getting myself into....

I am new at this, but even I laughed when I saw the picture. That's is wrong in so many ways.
