nice find and good save. Probably from someone's liquidated or inherited collection.

Great find Pacun, very good condition, it's a keeper for the book! Fuzzy, isn't that a shame. Great for us the collector, but too bad for the one who had all the joy and pleasure of the hunt only to have idiot relatives toss it for the ready cash.

Very nice! I don't believe I've ever gotten anything that old in change before.
And it's appropriate: a full century in circulation to find a good home.

CrazybO, you are 100% right. It is a shame. But if it were not for an idiot I would not have it today. I'm going to investigate this further since I have received old coins from the same store before. I hope some dumb kid isn't spending what's not his to spend

Poor Abe still hasn't been able to afford to retire even after being on the job for a century.

I hope some dumb kid isn't spending what's not his to spend That's not always the case.I've got a 5 gal bucket full of wheat's backs that I've sorted through over the years. Common dates well circulated. Every once in a while I'll roll up a few rolls and swap them for paper bills at my locale convenience store. Why? I've got a ton of them it seems like and might as well let someone else find one in their change to brighten their day.You would probably be amazed at some of the younger people that have never even seen a wheat back. Who knows maybe it will peak their interest and they begin collecting
