The flash pictures wash out some of the cool details. What do you think of the toning and grade. I hope it hasn't been cleaned and toned but I took a risk but still spent only 25 dollars....thoughts? Thanks, Todd

At best MS-60BN, little eye appeal, not worth $25. to the CCF!

Interesting...thanks for the input. I actually bought this one because it had "personality." I'm just getting back into the hobby after a extended break...some I buy because I get a bargain and some I buy because I like the way they look.

I think it's a nice looking coin with interesting color, but I get why it might not appeal to some. I was going to say AU-58, but then I read what Coinfrog and T-Bop posted. They are good at grading, so I went back and looked again. To be MS60 or higher there should not be any wear. I'm hard pressed to find much on the obverse (maybe a tiny bit in the feather tips). But, the reverse appears to have slight wear on the knot and on the high points of the leaves. Think I'll stay conservative and say AU-58.

I'll say AU-58 for this one. Might also make 62BN.
