Close Ace(geographically as well). 1915 Austrian Ducat. I found it 2-3 years back in a roll of nickels.

There was a member who was given a gold coin from a bank teller. The teller did not know it was gold. This was a number of years back and posted on CCF.

I think I remember someone claimed to have found a 2014 W gold Kennedy in a roll. I think there was a bit of skepticism in that thread doubting the truth of that claim.
Rest in Peace

John1397, neat find! Only found 2 gold covered Lincolns.

Did you know that the gold coated 1883 "no cents" was used by con men who passed them off as gold $5 coins. A fellow by name of Josh (forgot last name) would get a $.05 candy bar and receive $4.95 change from unsuspecting store clerks. This is where the phrase " You're joshing me" came from!
