I was dooing some clean up in my nickels and found this one for the year 1972. Is it a die wich have been more polish around the neck area?

I find this interesting. Wonder if anyone else has seen these. The Three Legged Buffalo find of Canadian nickels or is this the "Escaped Beaver" that got away from a trapper?
