And yes I know you can enlarge the pics but the photos look doctored. Heritages has the superior platform and I've spent a lot of money on their coins. Not once, did I ever receive a coin that I felt I had been duped on.

Great Collections Auctions are pretty decent overall. The photos are more than adequate for me to determine whether to bid on this coin (I wouldn't, by the way, just because I don't like the coin).

MikeF- I cannot believe you think these are crap photos. Do you have any idea how incredibly difficult slabs are to photograph? Give it a try. Try to duplicate their crappy photos. IMO, they are the standard for slab images. Heritage? Meh. Nothing to get excited about.

Whenever I buy from GC the coin I receive ALWAYS matches their photo- every time.

I want you to show us one of YOUR slab photos. I'm sorry, but your assertion is ridiculous.

I had a similar issue with a prominent auction company, I won a nice 1835 Quarter Eagle. When I received the coin there were smudges on the reverse. I worked and worked on them, but they wouldn't come off. So I sent the coin to PCGS to have it put into a new holder. Here are 3 picks. First is the one from the auction company, next the coin when I received it, and finally the coin in it's new holder. Cost $53.45. Sorry about the last pic. The color is a bit off. And by the way, I see nothing wrong with GreatCollection's photos.

I'd say 95% or more of the coin photos on ebay are worse than this example.

It does take two clicks to see it at full size, but you then see a 1500 x 1954 sharply focused well lit image. I completely fail to see the problem with these photos.

Is Great Collections a "picture site"?

With great difficulty, I can come close to reproducing the Heritage photos with my rig. It has everything to do with lighting and not so much with the quality of the camera. I have a new respect for anyone that can take these sort of pictures with this level of detail and contrast.
