Thanks crazybo . Is that actually a lam error? Looks like a metal detector find . But I know it's 2010 or newer.
Edit : if you will post a pic of the obverse I bet I can narrow it down lol

I had tried to start a give away this coin earlier, but not enough guessed. Was going to send it free...believe it or not here's the answer; Think 2016 had bad planchets, see a lot of early rot happening on most, discoloring, loose plating, just plain crappy material, Govt probably bought from bargain supplier!

@Potbellypub I think what you have is slight MD. I can see it in a few places. @Crazyb0 (bnick) I don't think it matters too much how new it is or where it was minted, just that they are Zincolns. If I took a 2017 and scratched it around in a parking lot then took some snips and notched the edge, then buried it in the ground, how long would it take to look like that or worse? Edit: Hmmm, I sense an expirement coming on...

Yea, you're near Philly, I'm central US so seem to get a lot of Denvers' coins, last year had tons after about July, very few Philly mints, had hard time finding good MS ones. Even When CRHing, seems that way, for us to get S mints are few and far between, heard same your way.
I used to buy bulk wheat cents. Places east had P & D's few S's. Central Midwest was D's, Some P's & S's. West coast had D's some P's and come to find out sell there S mints separately most often! The Best mixes seemed to come from south Texas, go figure.

In what I would call a little east of North Texas, I get primarily D's, a modest amount of P's and hardly any S's. I think between the P's and D's, it's a matter of location but S's seem to always have the lowest mintages of the three, often by a good amount. I think that explains the general lack of S coins pretty much everywhere. Or maybe West Coasters just don't see a need to travel to other parts of the country...

Coin is damaged. Zinc planchet don't have laminations. They plating can peel from another planchet and struck onto another coin.
