Good evening my uncle owns a deli he saves coins for me today he got a penny dime nickel and half dollar all look like they were broken from a proof set. Should I just put these in 2x2 holders or are these something I should send in to PCGS. These coins are in pristine condition. What should I do with these?

Thanks everyone

At the very least get them in flips (2x2s).

Unfortunately I doubt sending them in to a TPG is going to be worth the money. Even light handling will have serious detrimental impact.

Please post some photos, as close up as possible, so that we can evaluate them for you.

Cool finds no matter the result!

Yea save them, as long as these weren't in circulation very long then may have resale value. Any surface contact causes some damage, nicks, scratches and fingerprints, the killer of proof coins. Always handle coins by the edge!

Definitely not worth submitting to a TPG, but at least the half dollar is silver!

One tiny nick, mark, scratch, or fingerprint, or even tiny spot makes the value of the coin so low that it isn't worth sending in.

I agree, nice finds that deserve a 2x2, but I would not bother with sending them in to be graded.
