Based on pics it is difficult to tell full bell lines. Most 48D do have FBL so there's a good chance it is.

The winning bid was certainly a great price in my opinion.
It barely makes MS64 but I'll go along with that.
I have my doubts it will get FBL though. I took a portion of your coin and point out some spots that might not make it FBL.

Still a nice buy and attractive coin.
Congrats!

Thanks NickelGuy . To tell you the truth I don't think it's FBL too , but I fell for the luster and the fact that it has a clean face and head .

64 seems possible. Not seeing FBL. Stupendous luster. I like it.

Yes I like it too! It's a very nice Franklin. I just happened to be looking at my duplicates today and trying to grade them and so I was kind of "fresh" with my opinion.
It's not an easy series to grade. and I am not a good grader ...
Usually I buy a coin if I like it, I try to get the best price I can because it catches my eye, the grade is secondary.

It might make MS-64, but probably not FBL.

I agree with everyone MS64. the pics are not clear enough and the lighting is not helping to determine FBL. however, based on these shots I dont think so

I guess I will be the odd ball. I don't think it makes 64, probably 63. But I do think when you get it in hand FBL will be prominent.
