This button comes from East Germany ,and it belongs to my wife ..She said it comes from her grandfather.
She was born in East Germany.

Interesting button. Can you please post the full inscription or else take photos from angles that let us read the letters. I think that I can make out MESBELOTS in the center.

I don't seem to be getting all the letters. Going left to right seems to be: l(?)io(?) mesbelots(?)hablof(?). Maybe if you spell them somebody can translate. We do have some folks in European countries on this forum. I love a good mystery, I'll check back later, I may be even able to run some very moinor searches.

No idea if this is relevant, but Wikipedia says Hablov is the name of a Czech town.

It seems the button reads "Harlou Mes Belots Harlou."

Possibly associated with Felcourt, France but that's as far as I went.

Also, apparently, "mes belots" translates to "mens belts" in Greek...
