My grandad gave me this one day saying he found it whilst he was out working on his digger. No idea what kind of value/origin. Any help would be nice.

The rampant lion looks maybe Dutch or spanish. Check netherlands, Dutch republics, belgium, and older spanish.
It looks like it could be a cast counterfeit of something though.

Actually that's exactly what it is. It's a counterfeit of a 1639-1649 Lion Daalder from Netherlands.
