Evening, Potbelly! Think that's verdigris, because of the copper in the mix, try acetone bath? All I got outta my last box was 2-43P's and a 2009D

Evening crazybo. I washed it with soap and water but didn't acetone it didn't know if it was ok with the War Nickels but I will do that . Thanks for the info . This box has been pretty amazing as far as cool finds. It was a loomis box and I'm not sure if it was from a stolen collection or what but it has had some good ones in it . This is the third War Nickel the first wn had lamination the second was a woody .

This phenomenon is not uncommon on warnicks.

Out of this one box so far still have six rolls left to search I have gotten 2-39's 1-41,1-43,1-44,1-45,1-46,1-47,1-49,3-51's4-52's1-53,5-54's2-55's,2-57's,6-58's,and 5-59's two circulated proofs a 1920 buffalo and a 1925 buffalo and two coins made it into coops images one for die attrition the other for severe die breakdown. And I almost forgot the my one in a hundred million rare 1968s (lol john1) can't imagine me getting another box tho good anytime soon . (And I'm still looking for the elusive B mint nickel but I don't think I live close enough to bugtussel )
