I stumbled upon this forum out of curiosity when cleaning up at home and looking through a pile of coins as I have done since I used to roll coins for my Dad years ago, when it was possible to find Indian heads and 1909 VDB in circulation. I made it a habit to glom onto any bicentennial quarters found.
As far as numismatics, I had a stint in secondary school, where I joined a coin of the month club (do not recall name) for a year or two. Besides that I had always found looking at coins interesting. Recalling when my grandfather showed his "collection" to me, or while rolling the coins for Dad, or gleaning a bunch of steel pennies from someone who no longer wanted them.
