I believe CCF member robmck1967 has a similar one...
Is it a thin planchet as well? It looks like it was struck by a reverse die with a mangled die cap stuck to it...

Reverse looks normal except for some finning, probably caused by excessive pressure from being struck through a cap. Reverse looks really wild. I have never seen so many raised concentric lines. Seems to be struck by a die cap as SPP stated.

That's a cool coin. Cant help but wonder what that die cap looked like.

Sure looks like massive ejection failure with cap. Looks as though the cap has multiple brockage/counter brockage strikes? 4 different rim contours and 2 definite legends (one at 0630 and one at 0100) anyone else see them? Very nice!

Thanks for the information everyone, it is greatly appreciated.
What would the value of this coin be? Should it be graded with ICCS?
Or is it more just an interesting piece than a valuable or collectible piece?
Thanks again.

It's more of a cool head scratching coin, not really worth grading, maybe 30 bucks or so

ICCS does not grade errors. I would say it would have a value not more than CAN$75, which is about twice the normal price of other various "struck through cap" 1c errors.
