Ok I've got a question on slabbed coins from NGC. How do they seal the slabs? How can one tell if they have been opened and resealed?

Hopefully this can be something to look for, as I doubt the forgeries would use such a complicated process, and simply be spot-glued around the edge?

The reason I asked is because a coin I just received looks like it was opened and then resealed by melting the plastic in a few spots around the edges. So I grabbed all of my NGC slabs to compare and low and behold all of them have some sort of "edge melting" or deformation. The problem, and the reason I asked, is that all of he coins were purchased from many various retailers and auction sites. So I have trouble believing all of them were tampered with so I was hoping that maybe it was part of the encapsulation process.

I have some NGC slabs that are pretty sloppy looking around the edges also, it seems its getting worse looking as time goes by because some of my earlier slabs are pretty clean but the ones done more recently look pretty shabby
Rest in Peace
