1982 Lincoln Die Chip ?

I was going over some of my metal detecting finds and saw this. I am pretty sure this is a die chip, but I thought I would run it past you guys before I put it in a roll. Let me know if it is anything I should keep.

Is it copper or copper plated zinc? If it is copper it could be a die gouge. If it is copper plated zinc, the plating my have split, and the zinc started raising?

It is copper plated zinc, I hadn't thought about the plating splitting. It appears to be fine on the rest of the coin though.

It would either be a die chip or as mentioned, the beginning of some corrosion under the copper plating.
