i believe that it is around $6
(17.73 × .0321507466 × 12.5 × .90) = $6.4128682937

The 17.73 is the value of silver. So when it goes up or down, just change that number, multiply by the ounce/gram conversion factor, multiply by the total weight in grams, and then the by percent of silver. In this case, the percent is 90.

Wait 35 years before you sell them......silver will be up dramatically then compared to now I'm betting !......and a 1964 Kennedy half will be rarer and almost 80 years old too !
And by then, the Government will have "melted down" all of their stocks of them and they won't likely be in production AT ALL by then.......since 2002, as I'm sure you're well aware, they haven't been released for circulation......only minted in limited quantities for collectors........so that tells me that the "end of the Kennedy's" is on the horizon!!........could be an interesting value to the 1964-1970 Kennedy half.....beyond "silver market price" at some point many years from now.........just a ponder !

Not to beat a dead horse, but I like to use Deleted4's. It always has the updated silver price plugged in. It will also show you the current melt value of every circulating US coin.

Current melt of US coins

Kinda neat.

Those links wont work! That site name is in the "bad word" filter for spamming this forum! A good reason not to use them, IMHO.

I'm sure me and Walker were both pointing to the same website.

I don't know about you, but I don't consider the word Coin or the word inflation (flation) to be bad words..

Maybe there's another reason this website is on the blocked list?

I told you the reason!

It is not that they are "bad" words; they are "banned" words! That website's owner (or some other affiliate) would join here and spam the forums with the link! The "bad word" filter is just an easy way to moderate the forums for what is now a banned link.

It is not that you are spamming; but they did, and now they are effectively banned from the forums.
