Thoughts on grade and problems. Also what would you pay? Thanks! i dont see any major issues at all with this coin. nicely struck. fairly clean surfaces. there are a couple small areas of minor concern that the pics could be camouflaging. on the obverse in front of the chin. on the reverse below "DIME" and above the "ONE". depending on how it looks in hand it has a good shot at MS66 and maybe 67. the value swings widely on this coin from 65 to 66 and from 66 to 67 so I cant venture a guess on price unless in hand. in any case this coin would be a great addition to any collection.

A very attractive MS-65. 66 and 67 are unlikely, but not impossible, with 27 66's known at NGC (didn't check PCGS) and only 7 67's. Reverse has a couple of minor spots. Leaf right of D in UNITED has two minor nicks, and there are a couple of minor nicks below DIME on the reverse. Die erosion is minimal, suggesting an early strike, with only very slight weakness at the cap fold on the obverse and at the right ear of corn on the reverse.

This coin is in a PCGS MS64 holder. I think the obverse has a weak strike, notable in the cap folds (as paralyse noted) and the lack of detail in the leaves of Liberty's laurel wreath on head. Another concern is that the luster seems a little muted.
The coin does appear to be remarkably mark-free. I think it has a lot of eye appeal. It seems to be at the borderline of choice and gem. It is a great coin, but not quite an unforgettable stunner.

At 64 I feel it is a slight undergrade.
