I have a 1985 lincoln that looks pressed in at IN GOD WE TRUST,,, and on reverse looks pressed out in ONE CENT,,, can yall tell me what caused this,, is it PMD?

Die Deterioration...when dies wear, the metal on the die surface moves outward, causing this line near rim, also has a tendency to curl letters or force them into rim, L of LIBERTY for example.
