A two-piece bonded anything is quite scarce in Canadian decimal coinage. I believe George Manz has had a 1975 bonded pair for sale for quite some time.

I know of a 1979 two-piece bonded cap, including one being a flipover strike sold at Heritage in 1998.

I finally acquired an example of this error for my small cent error collection, from the February 2017 Torex. It is in a PCGS thick slab, and I love it.

I'm not an error collector, but that is pretty spectacular! Can you explain to an error novice how that one came to be?
