The detractors on the coin are offset by the rarity. I would say it's a VF details because of the dings on the thigh and the scratches on the reverse. Value $250-350.

I think I may just keep it.i haven't sold any coins yet that I've found, and I have a lot.1850s Seated quarters, dimes and even a Half Dime.Maybe if the forum wouldn't object I could post one now and then and ask for advice.I also have a few other silver halfs,a barber and 2 more walkers that I doubt are worth much, but it's cool to have them in my book.i appreciate everyone's help, and you guys are really awesome here.
Rest in Peace

I'd keep it -- at least for awhile.

If you haven't already done so, get some coin storage supplies like Saflips and coin storage boxes to help protect the silver from environmental damage.

Feel free to post the other coins -- each should get it's own thread, probably. We love looking at them.
