I just figured out the way to tell it is PDS or a struck through a few days back. It there is an incuse mark on the coin with a splashing out of the metal movement, then it is PSD. On a struck through we only see the incuse line. It does splash outwards as the die prevents this from happening.
Note on this coin the there incuse mark, and the raised wave of metal away from the original site. On a struck through is wave of raised metal is not present. Note the fields are flat next to the struck through errors below?

Those are great examples coop I thought that 1980-d was a die crack.
