Hello all! I would like some help with this coin. My husband received it as change when he bought lunch. We want to keep it as it came from the Carson mint but I was curious on the value of it. Any help you guys have is appreciated.

 Probably worth more than his lunch! With the wear and graffiti "X" on obverse side you're probably looking at $15 to $20 retail. A coin or pawn shop would like offer half of that amount. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the information! I have always wanted to find a coin from the Carson City mint since I live in the area and I love the museum that is now housed in the old mint building. We will definitely be keeping it no matter what.

extremely rare to find a coin like this in circulation especially a CC. someone broke into daddy's collection to go shopping
