I bought two of these for 1 British Pound (actually a gold sovereign) from my LCS. He didn't know what it was, I didn't know what it was, but I was ready to explore. Don't recall how I found what it was, but when I did, I found Stephen Album's auction pictures. Efforts to determine the date from pictures were unsuccessful. I posted the first dinar (almost four years ago!), and Sap was gracious enough to tell me it was AH 119/AD 737. So, what year is this dinar? Report this Post to the Staff

Hopefully @Sap can correct my Kufic.
