Hi all,

I've got a couple liberty head gold coins that I need help grading with. 1897 $5 coin and the 1905 $10 coin. Again, not the best images and I realize these are just the obverse sides. But any general guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks, NHcoinster

Taking a stab at it, xf on the half eagle, xf details on the eagle as it appears to have been aggressively wiped at one time and the unattractive dimples on the chin

and yes, coins outside the flips and both sides are a big help.

Just from what I see xf on the half eagle and ef details on the eagle.
Very nice!
