Starting to go through the paper money my Dad gave me 20 or so years ago. Most of it is in plain paper envelopes, some of it is in old glassine Littleton envelopes. Most of it is fairly easy to figure out except for the Vietnamese stuff he brought back after the war, and these which I think are Chinese or maybe Taiwanese. Would appreciate any help to identify these notes -- obviously the first is a 5 Yuan of some kind, it has a 1935 date; the others have no English, except one has "5" and one has "100." The one with the blank back is rather small; by contrast, the one with the 100 is very large.

Pretty sure 3rd is a Japanese bill. 2 & 4 are Chinese/ Taiwan w/ chang ki chek #1972 5 Yuan 1961 red,the other must be same year, maybe 1 yuan? Couldn't find the other listings, sorry.

Found similar to #3, is Japanese 100 Yen, says " portrait 6 at right" but shows different colors for 1946, can't match the orangish/red to any specific on site I got info, not enough pix to tell

The fourth one looks to be 5 cents from China (and Taiwan?), dated 1949 (see here). And the first is also from China.

So:

1935 China 5 Yuan #1
1961 Taiwan 5 Yuan #2
1949 China or Taiwan 5 cents #4

I went to that site (thanks!) and the third looks like 1945 China 100 Yen, their catalog #M-0030.

The portrait is Sun Yat Sen not Chiang Kai-shek.

#3 is a 1945 100 Yen Military Note. The four characters day "Military Use". The 100 Yen Japanese Military note was issued in 1945 for use in Hong Kong. It was the highest denomination military currency issued by Japan. The note, apparently printed in Hong Kong, utilized the basic design of the 1944 Japanese homeland 100 Yen note, however with modified legends on the back and the front has the "Military Currency" overprint.
