I am stoked, I KNOW... that these two dates are different. I can clearly see it. I am happy to have found this and know the difference. It pays off to keep looking and learning. And of course having insight from others.

Now you just need the 1960-D/D Small/Large Date to complete the family photo!

I would be totally lost in never-ending confusion without that ingredient.

Now I am confused on the double die. I have seen pics of really extreme double die and there's those that you have to use a magnifying glass to see it. I'm confused on the double die topic.

I didn't intend to confuse you. You are correct on the Small and Large Dates. Here's something I found that may be useful regarding the '60-D/D Small over Large Date and Large over Small date:

As always, coop has some very informative images that are worth keeping.

I admire your step-by-step progression and only wish I hadn't bogged myself down by trying to absorb too much at once. I'm still sorting it all out!

Hey Fuzzy! So far as the picture orientation goes, yesterday I posted a photo in the Coinstar thread in the CRH topic. I posted it using my iPhone and it came out upright and still is upright when I view it on my phone, but when I view it on my PC the photo is rotated 90 degrees. Is there some other issue at play here?
