Hi all

I'd like your views on ebay item 152478544043 - a 1923 Half Penny.

It looks very much like the good looking " import " replica 1930, 1937 and 1954 Pennies

which might still be available. The finish and detail of the sold 1923 Half Penny is

identical to the replica Pennies.

cheers

It'll be interesting to see if the buyer for the 1923 " import " half penny - Ima Woodduck - leaves a feedback.

For the " lucky " bargain price of of only $1,477.56 + $6.80 postage ....Ima could have, instead, bought the very same " import " 1923 half penny, like 46 others have, for only $10.

I wonder if Ima would be interested in buying a few 3 sided coins from me?

Darn that's sad. Hopefully the buyer realizes it and gets their money back

I can't understand why anyone would buy such coins on ebay in the first place. Considering the number of fakes out there, I'd rather get them from a reputable dealer who can verify their authenticity.
