Welcome you the forum, macha. I don't see an error, just lots of circulation and grime. What specifically are you seeing that might be an error? There might be something we can't really see since the coin is rather small in this picture. A closeup of the whole coin face would be helpful if you can get that.

Are you looking at that mark on the back of his head? Possible die crack or ? It is very hard to see. Try rotating and cropping your photo with the Image Optimizer to enlarge the image

If you're referring to the wide date, it's just worn from circulation.

Thanks you all for your replies. I really appreciate your replies. My concern is when compared with the other 1977 nickel the size of "G" is different. The space between "O" and "D" is a bit more. Look at "1". it looks really odd for me.

I think that the difference in the size of the letters has to do with how worn the dies are when the coins were made.

Keep hunting -- there's errors to be found.

Circulation strike damages to all devices are causing distortion to the appearance on all the devices...just a really beat up coin.
