Don't think so, devices are normal sizes and appears too shelf like from what I can tell, not quite clear enough yet.

Thanks I asked because this 1988 with the 1989 makers mark appears to have some notching

Are you referring to the mint mark? Are the pics of the same coin? I apologize but, I'm not able to follow the line of thought here.

Not sure if you have the 1988 Philly or the Denver but you can go to this page and select the link that matches you cent and then look up to see with attribution it is.

This is one of the harder varieties to find - congratulations on that.

I don't see any doubling, but that is a very nice variety to find.

That coin also looks very nice for a circulation find. Did you find it roll searching?

Are you talking about the initials? (FG) on the reverse? There is an issue with the wrong reverse dies being used on the 1988 cents:
RDV-005 is normal. RDV-006 is the one that should have started in 1989:

It might be a RDV-006? A closer view would confirm this of the 'FG' area.
