Hi everyone,

I have a 1920 No Dots Penny that was graded AU 55 , I no longer collect numismatics and am wondering how I go about selling this. I'm not sure what the ebay market is like these days.

Regards

Grading doesn't mean much anymore unless its slabbed but throw a Pic.of both sides up and we all can have a look and express an opinion.

Slabs are pretty worthless to a lot of collectors.

Hi I'm a new member, sabrocks69. I have been collecting blindly for a few years now. But have now just began to research and catalogue the coins I've been collecting. I also have a 1920 penny no dots? Is it worth anything?

The penny imaged is a Dot Below. I only had to see the CBL (curved based lettering) to know this.
The confirmed varieties in order of rarity are:
1:Dot Below CBL with 1920 Indian obverse.
2:Dot Below FBL (flat based lettering) with 1920 Indian obverse.
3:Dot Above Bottom Scroll FBL with 1920 Indian obverse.
4:No Dot FBL with 1920 Indian obverse.
5:Double Dot FBL with 1920 Indian obverse
6:Dot Below FBL with English obverse
7:Dot Below CBL with 1921 Indian obverse.
8:Dot Above Top Scroll FBL with 1920 Indian obverse.
9:Dot Above Bottom Scroll with English obverse.
Other varieties may exist but are not confirmed and claimed varieties such as the No Dot English are almost certainly misidentified coins.
Slabbed coins are certainly more collectible than raw coins as the grade is fairly accurate but many of the slabbed No Dots are misidentified Dot Below.
