Good day everyone,

I've looked at some examples of different errors and believe this is a brockage. I'm not 100 percent sure and would welcome your opinions, they are greatly appreciated.

Notice how the letters are backwards and recessed. I am thinking more likely a vise job, than a mint error.

Fuzzy317 Yes I see what you mean. But, the letters around the rim going around the top half of the obverse don't seem to be recessed.

Yes, here are a few more pictures. I was mistaken about the letters going halfway around the obverse upper half, they are recessed. If it is a vise job, how could the field not be disturbed and only the outer edges? I'm not denying it's a vise job, I'm just wanting to know how I could tell for sure. Thanks

with Fuzzy317 looks like someone attempted to create a broad strike with a hammer and a piece of pipe

I'm of the opinion that all modern (genuine) errors should be A/U and above..

The condition of this coin is questionable at best, and I'm going with PMD..
