I couldn't find the old post where we were discussing die cracks continuing through the rim. Thought this was a good example that they can.

Yes, I remember that post as well, probably about 5 or 6 months ago. I always had thought that a die crack would only run up to the rim and not into it.

I wasn't real sure. I have found Spike Heads that looked like the crack continued through the rim, but nothing this obvious. Since no one has blew me out of the water on this one, I'm thinking that's whats happening here. I tried again to find the old post, to see where it ended up, but no luck.
