1972-D Transitional Error Maybe - Coin Community Forum

Druu Pillar of the Community United States 1000 Posts	Posted 04/09/2017 01:37 am Probably a plated coin. There were coins counter stamped after market to commemorate JFK's inauguration. I've seen 1960-1980 and 1960-1985 counter stamps. I've got one of the latter, although it's plated in gold and not silver/platinum/whatever that is. Report this Post to the Staff
