1999-D LMC Die Gouge?

I found this tonight and for what's below the Memorial, my two thoughts were: die gouge or plating bubble. Seeing as it does not continue into the steps, I'm thinking this is a gouge. I also tried pushing down on it and nothing happened.

Wow that is a pretty good size and reminds me of the Feeder Finger Die Scratches that we have been seeing. But this seems pretty large - any possibility of it being a tilted Die Clash?

Yeah, I don't see anything in Lincoln's bust that would create that as a die clash.

I was hesitant to call it Feeder Finger Damage because of the single location, severity and angle but, it could be that.

That's about all I got.

I would think it to be Feeder Finger Damage.
