@diamondzacx, first welcome to CCF. Second, can you please also post a pic of the edge of your coin? This piece is oddly round, with a rim that I think isn't usually found on the coins of ancient Rome.

Not even an expert, that's a tourist knockoff, its fake. Those era coins have no rim!

Sure it isn't plastic? Looks it, magnetic?

I am afraid that your coin is a modern tourist quality fake. It is as far from an ancient coin is as Monopoly money is from real currency.

Well Diamondzacx, Roman coins of that era are #1) Most likely out of round with splitting at times (just like your example. #2) The rim on original Roman(ancients) is a circle of dots, not a raised rim around the circumference. #3) the quality of the image copy is...very poor and laughable...

Shall I continue with my untrained eye's observations?
