Hello and thank you all for allowing me to participate in this forum. My girlfriend and I are currently on vacation in the U.K. and bought a couple coins from a street vendor. I obviously have doubts as to their authenticity, but decided to go for it. Surely this guy was taking us for a ride, but I don't really care that I over paid as long as long as they are genuine.

So here we have a CLAUDIUS II and
GLORIA ROMANORVM... supposedly

With my limited knowledge it seems they have been struck. I work with jewellery and they don't look to be cast. There are cracks through, but as I said I'm no expert. Let me know what you think!

Both look fine. You can buy lots of simular coins on ebay for less than $1 per coin. These are both common as dirt and not worth much more than that.
