Due to my recent vandalized coin find posts, I had to redeem myself and post an actual Variety coin that I have found. Well, I hope anyway.

Classic BIE. Excellent find! Also, I like your presentation.

Quote: Also, I like your presentation. Thank You! I have been playing around with some editing tools to best show the coins. Got the idea from web searches that have side by side pics, as well as a recent post from Coop Quote: Sides by sides. Why are they important? Very informative I may add. A lot of knowledgeable folks in this forum, I have learned a lot from the short time I have been a member.

I didn't notice this yesterday when I looked...but isn't that a 1950-P LWC in your whole coin pictures?

Those pictures where taken at a slight angle to reduce glare with an iPhone. Here is a picture I just took with my scope (just got it today actually).

That's better. It is probably just my bad eyes. I did notice it was 1956 when I plugged comp into my TV monitor. Thinking I should just leave it connected. a 40" flat screen is much easier on the eyes.

Quote: Those are the "BIE" LDB listings for 1956. If you can't match yours up to one of those, you should submit it. Druu, I did check out those listings and I believe it could be LDB4-1956-001B. My coin has the Die Markers specified but I cant say that it matches exactly, What do you all think?

When I looked yesterday and saw that line on the right side of the reverse LDB4-1956-001B was the one I was thinking as well. Now that I see your close-ups it just confirms it. Nice find and nice job in attributing it yourself. Edit: Very impressive display pictures. Mind if I ask what program you use to merge them like that?
