Hello all,

I had this question in mind for a long while now. I've been searching a lot but couldn't find the answer. Would it be possible for all to share their opinions of what the largest gold hammered coin in history might be, whether it be ancient or medieval?

The Guinness Book of Records refers to an Indian gold 200-Mohur coin minted in 1654 that was 136mm in diameter and weighed 70 troy ounces, of which no examples are known to survive.

Interesting. However, aren't the Mughal pieces considered cast pieces rather than hammered pieces?
I've asked this question as I came across this piece, a truly impressive coin with a weight of 25 dinars being auctioned off soon. It is a recent discovery as well:
