Two slabbed Half Cents, one is a draped bust one is a braided hair.

Do you agree with their grades? What do you value them at? Is $300 a good price? Thank you!!

1804 dbhc wholesales for $250.
1853 hc wholesales for $125.

At those TPG grades.

I would examine the 1804 carefully for problems and if it checks out, I would buy them. Looks like a sweet deal at $300. Feel them out for any price flexibility and do the deal at $300 if they push back. Congrats!

I was able to talk the seller down to $280 for the pair. More coins for the 7070

I love the dark patina of the coins- trying to keep that a common theme for my type set. Thanks for all help! If you see any further problems dont hesitate to make mention. I will post more pictures in hand

Congratulations. Hard to see from posted pics, but they seem like fine and important additions to your collection.

Solid for the grades, decent price. Think I'd leave them in the slabs.

Received the coins. They look great in hand

You guys dont like to crack out coins? I rather have them all in one album than in a plastic holder. Just my opinion

I am not a fan of slabs, so I completely agree with you; I am all for liberating coins from their plastic tombs.
