Can anyone tell me if this coin would be slab-able with the Carbon Spots on the reverse. and also, what grade would you give it? Thank you for your time!

The color looks a little funky, it was probably dipped at some point.

i think the carbon spots are insignificant considering the tone I see on the coin. :(

I agree. The color is just wrong. It's been cleaned (dipped).

Thanks everyone, let me now if these give it any chance at being anything better then details. Also, I cant show in the photos but is does exhibit cartwheel luster, not sure if a dipped coin would have that.

Pictures do not always tell the whole story. This coin has some oxidation issues but could still grade clean. But, to be honest, it is not especially attractive, and I doubt that even a straight grade would enhance the value much.

Thanks Coinfrog. I will just keep it and imagine that onetime someone received this coin while Abraham Lincoln was president and the country was at war.

Nice looking 2 center but, need a lot better photos and no glare on said coin to be able to really tell could very well be, mint state.

I took it out of the holder. I tried to get better lighting. Would details be due to the corrosion?
